Where are you based?
I live in Leamington Spa, a beautiful town in the middle of England surrounded by countryside, an hour’s train ride from London. I moved here from Australia in 2016. I shoot around the UK, Australia, and just about anywhere else too.  If you’re curious about the whole England/Australia thing you can read this blog post.

Will you travel/do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes, absolutely. If you like my work, you should definitely get in touch with me wherever your wedding is in the world, as I love to travel and chances are I’ll be keen to make the trip. I’m thrilled to have booked weddings in Scotland, all over England, Malta, France, throughout Western Australia and Victoria (so far!)

What is your style of wedding photography?
I shoot in an artistic documentary style and am definitely a non-traditional wedding photographer. I like to watch things unfold and photograph them as they happen, capturing all the emotion and stories. For me, the beauty is in the realness. I will guide you during portraits, and there will be times in the day when I get very excited by beautiful light, a gorgeous background or a cute animal, and will ask you to get real close to each other while I photograph you with said beautiful light, background or animal. You can read a bit more about my style (and me) over here.

What kind of weddings do you like to shoot?
I love to shoot couples that are having a wedding that is true to them as people and as a couple, that means something real to them. Ditching traditions that don’t work for you, laughing and crying a lot, wearing any coloured/shaped wedding dress, bringing your dogs/cats and having fun are things I appreciate. One of the things I love about this job is how different weddings can be when a couple injects their personal style into their plans, making it meaningful to them. I’ve shot DIY backyard weddings, elegant affairs at French castles, intimate woodland ceremonies, romantic elopements in the Scottish highlands, summer boho Wedstivals and wild parties in London city. They’re all pretty fantastic when they’re about celebrating 2 people’s love.

We don’t like posing/we are nervous/camera shy, will that be a problem?
Not at all, and don’t worry, I completely understand those feelings and they are very normal. I have a relaxed approach and will help guide you in a natural way, without cheesy posing, just you being yourselves. I understand how strange it can feel being photographed and want you to be as comfortable as possible. One of the things that draws a lot of my couples to my work is that my photos look genuine and emotional without being posed – and that’s exactly how they are.

What do we get afterwards?
You’ll receive around 500 individually edited photos on USB in a very pretty package and a sweet online gallery to share with family/friends. You’ll have all the finished pictures to post, print and send to your heart’s content. You can also get a beautiful fine art photo book (which I highly recommend – photos in print are the best.)

How do we book?
Get in touch with me and we can chat and have a meeting/skype. It’s always a good idea to make sure we’re a good fit for each other and are generally on the same page, because you pretty much have to hang out with me all day. I take a deposit to secure your date, you sign an agreement and we’re done with the formalities!
